Winter Road Closures
Winter is coming, we are feeling those chilly mornings, noting the heavier skies and we are hopeful there will be some much needed winter rain for the Western Cape. Please note that inclement weather can cause #Chappies to be closed, so if there is a stormy day, do check out our Facebook page or website, and we thank you in advance for your co-operation despite the inconvenience. Safety for all our road users is our priority and excessive rain fall or high winds may cause the drive to close. Please refer to our road closure protocol.
Winter Restaurant Specials
One of the best things about winter, are the amazing restaurant specials on offer in Cape Town. Reminder that #Chappies is open 24/7 (weather permitting) so you can take advantage of these restaurant specials and still travel home via Chapman's Peak Drive. We also highly recommend the Farm Village Market, held every Wednesday from 4 - 8 pm (weather permitting), it's under cover, has gas heaters and a has a great selection of food choices for those #noneedtocook evenings.
Tariff Structure Changes
Kindly read more details on the changes to the Wild Card Tariff structure for 2018 and please note that there will be an annual increase in all tariffs from 1 July 2018. We will post these new tariffs as soon as we have final confirmation. As always with an annual increase, we encourage regular users to register as a frequent user on Chapman's Peak Drive to save those precious funds. If you travel more than 3 times per month over Chappies, you start saving! The added bonus if you REGISTER NOW as a frequent user (registration is free), is receipt of an SMS notification when #Chappies is open or closed.
