Top Reasons to Become a Frequent User on Chappies
Wednesday, 19 August 2015 15:15

Chapman’s Peak Drive is a toll road and the fee increases every year, usually on 1 July. This is based on a contractual agreement between the Concessionaire and the Department of Transport & Public Works. The increase will happen every year so Chapman’s Peak Drive recommends that if you drive over Chappies more than 3 times per month (this a no-brainer!) to register now and start saving!

For some people driving on Chapman’s Peak Drive is a once in a lifetime experience. If you are lucky enough to live in Cape Town, you could be experiencing this piece of paradise on a regular basis. For some reason, Capetonians seem reluctant to register for anything.

We highly recommend signing up as a Frequent User on Chapman’s Peak. Here are some the top reasons to register as a frequent user.

  1. Save money! The more you drive the cheaper it gets.
  2. No need for carrying cash
  3. Notifications by SMS line when #Chappies is open or closed.
  4. Tracking all transactions by means of a monthly statement
  5. It’s quicker than driving OVER the mountain.
  6. De-stress: Rush hour doesn’t happen at the usual time on #Chappies, so you will be calm arriving at work or leaving the office to get home because Rush Hour on #Chappies is on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
  7. Improve your health and feel better! By driving more regularly on #Chappies you will inhale fresh air and be calmed by the ocean. You will tune in to the seasons as you notice flowers blooming or storms brewing. You might even time your drive to watch sunrises and sunsets. You may even be inspired to walk, run or cycle.
  8. You will become a whale snob from whale spotting in season!

See details below on becoming a Frequent user and how to Register.
