Chapman's Peak Drive operates using a large number of integrated electronic systems. It is, however, essential for our staff to be able to function without manually without these systems and still provide the functionality and customer service to our drive users.
In order to provide essential staff training, Entilini Operations will go onto "Manual Mode" for one hour at least once a month. During this 60 minute period, the electronic systems will be shut down completely and we ask users of Chapman's Peak Drive to be patient during this training hour. A manual mode sign will be in place to notify road users that Chappies is not functioning on auto.
