The Foodbarn was partly motivated by spending time with his family, partly motivated by surfing the surrounding spots, and partly based on a new phase of his career.

Having left the world of Fine Dining, Franck wanted to introduce better food to a broader audience using his experience and food savvy ways. As he says, “I want fine dining brought to the streets – the more people know about ingredients and their origins, the more conscious and demanding they are, the better the food we serve.

Have your breath taken away on a chauffeured vintage World War II motorbike with sidecar, practically unchanged in style from the late 1930’s.

Experience the beauty of the Cape Peninsula and Cape Winelands in a once-in-a lifetime-trip on an exotic classic from yesteryear. Our fleet of 40 well-maintained vintage sidecars can be used for that special getaway or alternatively as a means of treating your VIP guests, staff or friends to a trip of a lifetime.

Each sidecar can carry the chauffeur plus up to two passengers (some of our sidecar have been modified to carry up to three passengers!), while our full fleet can carry groups of up to 75 guests at a time.

Cape Point Vineyards is a family owned, female driven Vineyard that is uniquely located in Noordhoek on the Cape Peninsula, where it is set rather majestically against the slopes of the famous Chapman’s Peak mountain range and overlooks the nearby Atlantic Ocean – a mere 1,2km’s away.

Our focus has moved to veggie seeds and seedlings, herbs and the soil mediums and fertilisers that support this growing process. Situated on the site of the old Silversands Drive-in, nestled in the picturesque valley of Noordhoek, we are continuously evolving as time, resources and ideas come together.

Operating from a converted storeroom at our home, each step in our process, from sourcing high quality and, where possible, local raw materials (including diving for the kelp), to the distilling, bottling and labelling is done by hand.

Our small batches are created with care and attention as our aim is to create distinct and unique products for your enjoyment.
